Beaded flower

I have been playing about with some beads and wondered how I could incorporate them with some rubber stamps. This effort has taken a while to put together but I am very pleased with the result. The square frame I printed onto off-white card stock from the Fantasy Floral CD. Then I stamped a large flower from the Big Flowers unmounted stamp plate and painted it with Inktense pencils. I sewed sequins and beads to create the flower centre and the corners and mounted it onto paper from Elusive Images. Thanks for looking, Cheers Rosie

Fuchsia watercolour - Sandra

These stamps are from the Fuchsia theme plate.
The main image was water coloured, several layers were used for depth. The two lower flowers were decoupaged with three layers.
The bottom border was stamped with a pigment ink pad and then mica powder was brushed over the top. Unfortunately the shimmer does not show up on the photo.

Winners announced despite fault on the line!

Ack! BT Broadband has been playing up something rotten lately and has made a painfully slow chore out of surfing the intertubes this weekend. I thought it was just a slow connection, but I finally called in a fault today and sure enough, they called me back tonight and used the word 'massive' to describe the fault. Well at least I wasn't imagining it.

So, I do apologise and to make up for keeping you in suspense all weekend, I have all three of the remaining winners to announce here, so without further ado ....

The winner of the Birthday Words themeplate is: Sally H

Well done Artyjen, I'm sure you will put these phrases to good use. Looking forward to seeing your artwork with them. You can see Artyjen's work on her blog.

And finally, the winner of the Tall Trees themeplate is: Helen

I like the tree perched on a cliff image, one moment it looks very tranquil the next i expect someone precariously hanging off the cliff after holding onto a branch which broke off. :)

Congratulations Helen - hope you enjoy the stamps.

Can all three of you please email me with your address and we will get your stamps sent out to you by the end of the week.

Tall Trees

OK, I promised you the last of this batch of new stamps and here it is. Probably going to be the favourite for many of you, trees are eternally popular, classy, elegant and perfect for mens cards! Guess what's going to be on Adrian's birthday card later this year!

I have just finished putting together a Stampbord Masterclass magazine article which is coming out in August and one of my favourite cards features a 'rainforest' made with the trees shown bottom right. (I'll let you know the magazines and issue dates nearer the time.)

So I shall be sifting through all the comments and picking out some winners in the next couple of days. Don't forget to check back because if you don't, you might miss out. Unbelievably, we always get some winners who never claim their prize - go figure!
